Manic Panic Cleo Rose Review and a lil tips for you..~

hey everyone..!! as i promised on my last post, i will give you a review about my new hair color using manic panic again.. this time i choose "Cleo Rose" as recommended by the seller, because i still want a pink color, but with a darker shade.. i was confused want to choose between Cleo Rose or Hot Hot Pink? then the seller told me that Cleo Rose will faded away with a pretty pink color, so yeah why not?? hehe..

well, as you know, my pink cadillac has faded away, leaving my hair back to blonde in a week..~~ that's the reason why i choose darker color, so it can last longer, and it did by the way.. hehe.. but first, let's see the product..!! i buy the classic cream one, because amplified colors range are so little, while classic cream has more variety..

classic cream come in a jar look, while amplified is more like bottle.. i like the jar one because it's easier to scoop in and take the cream out.. here's the more detailed photos of the product itself, you can see the directions and ingredients..

i won't write much about the details because you can see and read them directly from those photos above, let's move on to the next one.. i will tell you what you need before starting to dye your hair, oh yeah i done this on my own, thx to youtube channel..!!! <3

what you need are :
- manic panic hair dye
- a pair of plastic/rubber gloves
- a bowl
- comb & brush for dyeing
- hair band / hair clip
- vaseline petroleum jelly
- shower cap

ok, before starting, please keep in mind that this will be a messy procedure, use a shirt that you don't mind getting stain on it, take off all the accessories, and cover your floor with old newspaper..

How to :

- the first step is to wash your hair using shampoo only, don't put any conditioner, because conditioner work as a barrier between your hair and the hair dye itself, so the color won't come in
- blow dry your hair until it's really dry and comb it thoroughly
- apply vaseline petroleum jelly around your hair line, neck, and ears, so the hair dye doesn't stain your skin
- now make a section of your hair, i like to do it from the bottom part, and clip the rest of the hair up
- put on the gloves and take out some of the hair dye into the bowl
- now take some part of your bottom hair and comb it once again, then take the color using your finger or the brush for hair dye (i prefer using my hand, i don't like to use the brush because it takes so much time, but it's up to you, suit yourself with the one you like)
- as i mentioned above, i'm using my hand/finger to apply the hair dye so i apply it thoroughly and rub each section of the hair with palm of my hand until the color spreads well and through

the photo above is illustration only, because i can't take any pictures during the process..
- next one is to make sure that all of the bleached part are covered, add color to any part that needs more color and rub them all once again
- after you sure that there's no missing parts, tie up your hair into a bun and put on the shower cap
- leave it for as long as you can, manic panic is super safe because it's vegan product so there's no side effect whatsoever, i leave mine for 3 hours..!! the longer you wait the better it will turns out..~
- after that rinse your hair with cold water away from your face, rinse it until the water runs almost clear
- you can blow dry it if you wanna see the results or just let it air dry, less damage to the hair
- and it's done..!!!

now you must be wondering if there any special routines to maintain the hair color?? yes there is..!! i will tell you everything that i know and everything that i have learned so far to maintain the color as long as possible..

- don't wash your hair 2-3 days after you dye it, leave it as long as you can
- wash your hair with cold water, as cold as you can
- avoid using too hot styling tools
- use heat protection when u do need to use styling tools
- and also don't wash your hair to often after that, i wash my hair once every 2 or 3 days depends on my hair condition, if it's a little greasy i use dry shampoo instead, because more often you wash more faster the color will fade away.. i'm using batiste dry shampoo, it's really working on my greasy hair and last long for the day..

- and for the shampoo itself, you have to choose shampoo that focused to maintain colored hair, i already try herbal essence and L'oreal.. i was searching for Herbal Essence Color Me Happy and they don't sell it Indonesia, so i went to a supermarket called Papaya here in Surabaya, they usually sell imported stuffs and finally i found it..!! Herbal Essence Color Me Happy is famous for colored hair, that's why i really want to try it.. hehe.. i will tell you the difference between each of these shampoo :

       * the first one is L'oreal color vive protecting shampoo and conditioner, makes my hair super soft, great texture, unfortunately my scalp is getting greasy so fast, just in a day when using these products..

L'oreal color vive

       * the second one is Herbal Essence Colour Me Shiny, you can find it anywhere in Indonesia, also give a soft results to my hair, not as greasy as L'oreal, but still the oil appear faster..

Herbal Essence Colour Me Shiny

       * the last one is Herbal Essence Color Me Happy, if you are in Surabaya, you can bought it on Papaya, it's an imported product from America and only have a big size, the price is around Rp.75.000,- .. now u may think that it looks the same with colour me shiny, but it's not, i don't get as much oil on my scalp until 2 days.. although when i wash my hair using this, it feels a lil bit dry not as moisture like those 2 products above, but only with conditioner it gets smooth again.. so no problem, i really love this one and recommended to you guys..!! yes it's kinda pricey, but hey u have to do the best for your hair to maintain it's color right? =)

Herbal Essence Color Me Happy
- and last trick is to mix some of the hair dye to the conditioner, it will layer your hair with a lil bit of color so it won't faded so fast.. if you have super dry hair people dilute conditioner with hair dye so it have a less damaging results when they colored their hair, but many ppl complain that the color won't stand out that much and faded away even more faster than usual..

well that's it for the tips, and if you wonder, i still have some leftovers after dying my hair.. but when i did the pink cadillac color, it's not enough using 1.. i'm kinda confused here, probably darker color = less product to use?? hahaha..

the pro's and con's will be similar, and some is same with my older post because it's the same product after all, only different color..

Pros :

- don't have smell because it's a vegan product, so it doesn't ruined or damage ur hair
- many range of colors
- conditioning the hair, yep that is so true..!! i can feel my hair become so smooth after dyeing it with manic panic..!!
- don't have any side effect
- semi permanent..!! i can change my hair color everytime it turn back to blonde..~
- this cleo rose color is on my hair for almost 2 weeks now, it faded slowly but not as fast as pink cadillac, really satisfied with this color..!!
- i still got some leftovers left..!! what a shock..!!

Cons :

- pricey, but hey.. quality equals with the price, this product doesn't dried out or damage our hair, so why not??
- stained the skin even if you let it stay for few seconds, and my clothes get stained everywhere, can't get rid of it even after wash

my rating for manic panic cleo rose is 10/10 .. great color, so vibrant..~

as i said before, i really love manic panic and satisfied with the results, what kind of color should i try next??? what do you think??? hehehe.. as usual i purchased this from @petite.lady ..

thx for reading my post and enjoy the results photos..~~
don't hesitate to ask me anything.. i will give you my best answer.. see you on my next post..!!! <3

first time experienced to bleach my hair and manic panic "Pink Cadillac" review

ola everyone..!!! sorry i post nothing last week because i just broke up..!!! yepp... but don't worry the blog post will keep coming after this, i don't really care much with this whole break up thingy, so yeahh.. what evaa...~

well as you probably know from my instagram and facebook, i just have a pink ombre hair..~~ yep, have been wanting it for a long time, i prep my hair to face the chemical damage before i bleached it.. using lots of vitamins, oils, and masking my hair once or twice a week.. finally my hair getting better, and i'm ready to do the bleaching process.. i go to salon to let the professional handle my hair, because i have damaged hair already, i don't want to do more harm by do the bleaching process on my own..

i choose Shinjuku Hair Make in PTC surabaya because it's new and closer to my home and also i have tried coloring my hair twice on their branch at G-walk Citraland, super satisfied with their service there.. but unfortunately their service is sucks on their branch in PTC, GDI..!! so rude and unfriendly..!! i dunno is it because different manager or what, but i'm assure you that this is my last time to go here, i prefer to drive a lil bit far to Citraland but have a better and friendlier service..
they charged me around Rp 800.000 for bleaching and coloring, not include vitamins and cutting service, so the total is around Rp 1.125.000.. i pay a lot of money and they still treated me like a sh*t, what an irony...... btw, sorry i don't take any picture of the salon because i'm too angry and lose my mood when they treated me like that..=(

so let's move on to the process, i already washed my hair a day before, only using shampoo, no conditioner, no hair product, whatsoever, so it really is just a fresh washed hair.. lol.. when i arrived at the salon, the hairdresser tell me that it will take a long time to bleach my hair, because my hair have to be bleached twice to achieve blonde level.. so yeah, that's fine by me..~
this is my before picture..

and after that, the hairdresser started to tease my hair, all of 'em..!! so u can imagine how painful it was for me.. T_T
then she cover my hair with the bleaching mixture and i wait for like 4 hours, she did wash my hair after 2,5 hours to see how did it go, and it wasn't blonde enough so she bleach my hair again and i waited around 1 hour for my hair to be blonde at last.. here's some pictures of me while i waitting for my hair..

ouch, what a big mess.. hahaha.. so did you curious about the final result of my bleached blonde hair??? here we go..~~

still wet

when dry, forgive my flat nose..!!
next, since my hair is so thick and i haven't cut my hair for almost 1 year, they need to trim some of them and give layers.. good bye my lovely hair.. >o<

so thin..!!

and then my hair is ready for coloring..~ i'm using manic panic in Pink Cadillac shade, i already falling in love with manic panic since i first their pastel colors collection..!! so pretty..<3
so i purchased 1 from @petite.lady on instagram, and oh they have discount now for december..!! you guys should check 'em out..!!

so manic panic pink cadillac is one of the limited colors that's why i'm curious and wanna try it.. manic panic got 3 different kind of hair dyes, the first one is classic (1-3 months), amplified (3-6 months), and the last one is dye hard (like a gel, gone when wash).. i choose the amplified one because i want it to last longer.. here are the detailed pictures, i take it on the salon because i don't have time before to take the pictures, so i'm sorry if there is blurry images..=)

what a cute color am i right??!!! can't wait to show u guys how it looks like on my hair..~~
i won't tell you guys how to dye it by yourself because i haven't done it yet, but i assure you on the next post i will tell you how, because *spoiler* i just re-dye my hair, change it to a new color.. hehe..

so this is a photo of me waiting for my hair to accept the color..~~

i can see the pink..<3
so after waiting for an hour, blow drying it, giving heat to it, then my hair is ready to be wash.. and the results are...........

she styling my hair

tadaaa..`~ so pretty...

super duper big smile..!! =D

thank you to my hairdresser..~
Pros :

- don't have smell because it's a vegan product, so it doesn't ruined or damage ur hair
- many range of colors
- conditioning the hair, yep that is so true..!! i can feel my hair become so smooth after dye it with manic panic..!!
- don't have any side effect
- semi permanent..!! i can change my hair color everytime it turn back to blonde..~

Cons :

- pricey, but hey.. quality equals with the price, this product doesn't dried out or damage our hair, so why not??
- for the pastel colour, it's gone like super fast..!! it took me around 1 week after 3 times washed, then my hair going back to blonde again.. the seller said that my hair wasn't white enough, and all the pastel color is like that, it depends on our hair too..!!

and now my rating about manic panic pink cadillac is 6/10, just because it doesn't last long and i purchased the amplified one and the results is meh...

my conclusion is this product is worth to buy if you love to change hair color because it doesn't really damage the hair, it's a vegan product..!! did i want to re-purchase?? absolutely yeaahhh... but not the pastel color unless u bleach ur hair up until white.. i already purchased another color and in fact i just done re-dye my hair yesterday.. lol.. wait for my next post..~~

so thank you for reading my blog, i hope this information is helpful to you guys, and don't hesitate to ask me anything about this product on the comment below.. have a nice day..~~ <3

#selfie
and i will give you guys some photos from my last photoshoot with my brand new pink ombre hair.. thx to the photographer Widianto Hermawan for take such a great pictures of me..^^

~Liese Bubble Hair Color # Milk Tea Brown Review~

hey guys..!!!! finally i can continue my blogging again after those busy months..~~ i have this urge to start blogging since i got so many beauty products, both makeup and skincare.. i have 2 items from my birthday's gift waiting to be reviewed.. oh so excited..!!! i got a lot of request on makeup tutorial too..!! so please be patient i will post everyting as soon as possible..!!! oh and i started to take photos using camera instead my phone to improve my pictures quality, so it will be a lil bit longer to write a new post since i have to import the photos to my laptop, edit the brightness, and upload it.. i hope u guys will understand this.. =)

now let's talk about hair color, i always go to salon to get my hair done, but it makes my hair dry so i try to find a new way to recolor my hair but has a less damaging effect.. i asking around and found out that bubble hair color won't dry our hair as much as doing it at salon so i tried it.. i have a blog post about my first time trying bubble hair color which is Innisfree Camelia Whipping Hair Color , but it doesn't turns out as i expected and i figured out why, i need 2 boxes to color my hair.. i got medium-long hair length and it's pretty thick too..!! so i try to color my hair again with liese bubble hair color, i have tried it first months before this post actually, but at that time i still don't understand and using only 1 box.. of course my root can't get color into it again and i consider it failed and never made it into my blog, finally i bought 2 boxes and waited my hair to recover for few months, the day has finally come which is last week, and i'm super satisfied with the result..!!!

Liese Bubble Hair Color

i rate the packaging : (7/10)

it looks like a regular hair dye product, but the design is interesting.. the model has like a big foamy marshmallow thingy on top of their head, so cute..!! they have so many different colors and shade from dark to light tone with different models and colors, cheerful and playful look..~
this is the color charts that i got from google..

color charts

now i will give u guys a clear looks from the box, i choose milk tea brown color because it's the ;ightest color that i find.. i purchased this at Penang when i accompany my parents and grandpa to do a hospital check up in there, so why not do a little shopping? hehe..

as you can see, the box is full with words and explanation on each sides, very informative.. there is directions how to use and mix the mixture, the cautions section, and how it will looks like on dark hair, medium light hair, and light hair color.. the milk tea brown is kinda have a lil bit orange on it but not as orange as sweet apricot color.. now let's move on to the inside part..~

on each box i got solution 1 (small dark brown bottle), solution 2 developer (big white bottle), foamer cap, 1 pair of gloves, hair treatment, instruction sheet and skin allergy test panel.. oh there is a small explanation on solution 2 bottle, here's the picture..

so i will start the explanation now, how to do it and what other things that you need before start dying your hair.. here we go..~

- first wash your hair with shampoo and don't use any conditioner, because conditioner can block the hair color product to penetrate into our hair, blow dry hair before using the hair color, don't use it on wet hair
- you need to prepare some newspapers to cover the floors because hair dye product can stain them or any other furniture nearby
- you also need to prepare a towel to protect your clothes and to prevent this product running down to your skin, but please use a shirt that u don't mind getting stained on it because trust me your shirt will get stained no matter what
- comb your hair before use the product to prevent it from tangling
- put on some vaseline petroleum jelly on your skin near the hair line area, ear, and neck to prevent the hair color from staining our skin.. or put it on places that u think might get stained, but becareful don't put it or don't get vaseline into your hair, because the color won't come out..

comb that hair~

so now i will show you guys my hair color before i recolor it using liese bubble hair color, my dark root already grown pretty long.. huhu...

let's start mixing the hair color shall we??? yay..~~

- pour solution 1 into solution 2, close the bottle with the white cap first

solution 1

solution 2 developer

- gently turn the bottle upside down a few times around 5-6 times, don't shake it or move it too hard to prevent the bubble forming inside the bottle

turn it upside down

after mixing

- change the white cap into the foamer cap (pink one)

- put on gloves and gently squeeze the center of the bottle a few times until the foam comes out

- start to put the foam into your hair, i like to start from the scalp first because i got a stubborn dark root, it's harder to color my root.. apply it all one by one and massage it gently with your finger to avoid tangled hair, keep applying to your whole head until the bubble form like a shampoo, after that put all your hair up to the top of ur head and leave it for 30 minutes..

  - rinse it off with shampoo, make sure the product residue is gone then apply the hair treatment lotion, rinse it again, and you are done..!!~

Pro's :

- easy to use
- clear and informative explanations
- doesn't dry my hair
- feels so smooth and nice
- even color, my root isn't black anymore, yay~~

Con's :

- no cape included, i wish they give the cape inside like the innisfree whipping hair color.. hehe
- i don't like the smell, it's have a strong chemical odor

the results are :

i dunno why my phone camera didn't get the color..

i rate this product : (9/10)

i'm super satisfied with this product and would love to repurchase..!! i know that it's pretty hard to find an online shop that sell liese bubble hair color in here, but don't worry guys, i found one..!! it happened to be a friend of mine so it's trusted and feel free to check her online shop..~
