~Chinese New Year Makeup Tutorial...~

hello everyone..!!! so chinese new year is a few days away.. i'm so excited since i'm chinese and celebrate this once in a year event..!!! it's a time where the whole family come and also eat dinner together.. and i already done all the tradition that i have to do before chinese new year, which are to put as much money as u can in your wallet, buy new clothes, cut your hair (u can cut it a little by urself), stack the fridge with lots of food, etc.. well, i don't really believe these things but it's a tradition and if it's mean good, why not do it?? i don't lose anything too..=D

so in this post, i will write a tutorial about chinese new year makeup look..!! well, this was a softer version from my party makeup (which i promise will make a tutorial for it). but since it's almost look the same (only using different eyeshadow colors) so i'm gonna join the tutorial together with this one.. hope u guys enjoy it..!!!

- first step of course as u guys know, cleansing -> toner -> eye cream -> moisturizer -> sun cream -> face primer -> bb cream..
i always do this thing first.. (check the past post for which products did i use)

before

- since i was in a hurry, so i already fill in my eyebrows first, go out to do my stuffs then go back home to continue this tutorial, so u might find that the picture is different than the old post because i already fill in my eyebrows.. (so sorry..>.<)

- now i'm trying my other technique which is apply eyeshadow and eyeliner first then foundation.. because when doing smokey eyes, the dark color eyeshadow such as dark brown or black falling down to the face and create a mess.. so in here, we can clean that up first than apply foundation.. it's easier i guess.. well for the eyeshadow, i'm using gold and dark brown colors from my Em Cosmetics Life palette : Night Life..
the colors i use are from look number 2 "first date",

~for the base, i'm mixing "b" and "c" colors, and apply on my whole eyelid..

~ then "e" and "f" for the outer corner..

~ for the inner cormer as usual, i use silver color "c" from look number 1 and for lower lash line, i'm using "e" from look number 2.. i also put on gel eyeliner on my waterline..

~ applying the eyeliner, i'm using liquid eyeliner from K-palette..

- ok, next on is apply the foundation, i'm using Revlon Colorstay Whipped creme makeup.. applying it with stippled brush for natural looking face.. don't forget to use concealer for dark area..

- since my face is drying out after i go back from Jakarta, i skipped the loose powder stuff.. directly use the face powder, in here i'm using Pore Putty BB mineral powder.. it says that this powder can reduce or make the pore appreance look smaller (smoother look) and it does a little bit.. so i love this product..!! apply it with big powder brush..

- now, put on some fake eyelashes, i'm using ginza decolog rich..

- the i countour my nose, put highlight on the nose bridge and eyebrow bone, then put on some blusher.. for countouring i'm using candy doll shading powder, and for highlight i use the lightest color from face powder..

- now for the lips, i'm gonna use red lipstick.. so first, apply foundation on the lips.. then use lipliner to line or draw your desire form for ur lips and fill it in with lip liner.. in here, i forgot to buy the red lip liner so i use what i have which is lip liner from MAC and the color is pink.. next, apply the red lipstick, i suggest to use a matte color because it's easier to use.. then top it off with lipgloss if u want to.. the products i use here are all from revlon, for lipstick is revlon colorstay ultimate suede #095 finale and for lipgloss revlon colorburst #018 fire feu.. use sponge or brush to clean the line around ur lips and u are done..!!

Christmas makeup tutorial

heyy.. i'm so sorry for this super late post..!!! i'm in Lombok, and my internet connection is really slow and i have been wait for the photos to upload in here for about 3 hours now!! oh gosh..>o<

btw this is a christmas makeup tutorial.. in christmas RED is a trademark, so i'm gonna do a smoky eyes and red lips.. all from my life palette : night life by EM cosmetics..~

okay let's just start with the tutorial..!!

- first of course as usual clean and toner the face.. don't forget moisturizer and sun cream..!! oh and also moisture the lips..~

- then prep the face with primer and for me, i love to apply a tiny bit of BB cream..~

- after that put on some foundation, in here i'm using revlon colorstay whipped because it can last long and i love the coverage..!! i'm applying this foundation with my favourite brush which is Sigma angled kabuki F84.. and Sigma precision angled P84 for the small area like under the eyes or bridge of the nose.. when applying the foundation, u can put the leftovers on the eyelids if u got some discoloration..

- then, put on some corrector on acnes if u have and concealer to conceal all the dark area on ur face, such as dark circle or anyplace that darker.. i'm using body shop tea tree corrector and for the concealer la touche magique perfect match by L'oreal in natural beige shade.. then blend them in with sigma P84 brush..

- after this, setting everything off with loose powder first.. i'm still using my body shop..=D

- next is the eyeshadow.. i'm using my life palette : night life my Em Cosmetics, mixing colors from look number 1 and 4.. i use silver color "a" as the base and "c" on the inner from look number 1, then in the middle i apply color "d" from look 4.. and i'm using dark brown color from my dollywink eyeshadow.. for the lower lash line i'm using "c" color from look 1 on the inner and dollywink dark brown color from middle till outer..

 - after the eyeshadows, apply the eyeliner.. i'm using liquid liner for the upper lids and gel eyeliner for the waterline.. for the gel eyeliner i'm using Kate gel eyeliner..

- then draw or fill in the eyebrows.. i'm using Viva eyebrow pencil in darkbrown color.. it's a local brand from Indonesia but it's my favourite eyebrow pencil evaa.... then brush it out with angled brush to even out the color.. and don't forget to top it off with eyebrow mascara, it also give a soft look on the eyebrow.. i'm using dollywink eyebrow mascara..

- usually after all the eye makeup done, i'm applying a layer of powder again with.. i'm using body shop all in one face base number 3.. 

- then, now is the time for eyelashes and mascara..!! i'm using anmie lashes by kose.. bought it in hongkong..~ and for the lower lashes, i just use mascara.. u can subtitute fake eyelashes with mascara uf u find this look is too much for u.. do anything that make urself comfortable with girls..=)

and for the mascara i still trusted my favourite maybelline the magnum volume express..

- after that, apply the blusher.. i'm using maybelline cheek glow peachy sweetie and candy doll blusher.. i love using a big brush for this one because it doesn't give lot's of color directly, but more subtle and soft...

- then the final step is the lips..!!! i'm using red lipstick from life palette : night life my Em Cosmetics look number 4.. i mix both of the colors and apply it using my finger.. well, finger is the best brush in the world..!! and don't forget to tidy and clean the area around ur lips, because red lipstick doesn't look good if it smudge all over the place..

and it's done..!!! here's the results..!!
