ok before we start the review, i want to apologize for those amazing ppl who sponsored their products to me because i postponed my blogging activity.. i do feel bad and awful for this delay, but i hope you guys can understand why i had to postpone because i am busy preparing my makeup studio.. thank you..:)

oh and one more thing, i lost my camera charger so until i can find the substitute, i have to use my phone camera instead.. i hope the quality is good enough..  :(

so back to the topic, today i want to review about powder shampoo or you can say it's a dry shampoo.. if you follow my blog probably you will know that i LOVE dry shampoo because i got damaged and dry hair from my hobby to keep changing hair color.. haha.. so dry shampoo is my best friend, i don't shampoo too often because it will strip down the natural oil and make my hair drier than before, so yeah i'm exciting when my dear friend Coccinelle Cosmetic asking me to review her powder shampoo.. usually i'm using Batiste dry shampoo but since it's a spray bottle thingy i got stopped at the airport and they don't allow me to bring it, it's so hard to travel around without dry shampoo, i got freaked out and perhaps this powder shampoo can be a substitute for my Batiste..

as usual, we will start from the design.. it comes in a can with sticker all around it, it's a cute design by the way with rabbit and circus theme, it's a homemade product from the looks of it and it's a very nice work.. 

it's a pretty tight container because i bring this to travel around from Surabaya to my hometown, Lombok island by plane and it never spill or anything..!! and it's not too big so it will fit to place on ur luggage or even your bag..!! perhaps if you got late night flight or arrived early in the morning, you can use it and make ur hair look fresh again.. so let's see the inside shall we??

as you can see it is powdery, but it smells so fragrant and good..!! at first glance you might think that it was a regular powder, what's the difference? it could be baby powder or any powder in there..!! but no it's not, after i take a closer look the composition or the texture is more like castor sugar.. so it is definitely different and this is how it looks when i put it on my second hair day which is kinda oily because i just pre-poo my hair with coconut oil for few hours before i took a shower.. 

how to use : use a large brush usually powder brush to apply it on your hair and comb it thoroughly..

you can't really see the difference in the photo above, but for me it is different.. i can feel it when i touch my hair, the oil is decreasing and i feel that my hair is become a lil bit stiffer, i guess it become stiff because the powder suck in all the oil.. but that's ok though because i hate oily hair, and it will gone when you wash it.. so no harm to your hair and you can look good and fresh for the day..~

and if you wondering, Coccinelle powder shampoo has 4 variants which are black forest,  snowy field, matcha meadow, and chocolate dessert.. wow even the names are sound yummy..!! i choose snowy field tho because i always thought that dry shampoo always have a white color.. i wanna try the brown one next time because the white color kinda make my hair look greyish a little.. haha..~

 Pros :

- it's pretty cheap, only Rp 55.000,- and you only need a little of it, remember less is more..!!

- easy to use

- great size for travelling, you can even move it to a smaller container if you like

- smells great

- my hair isn't oily anymore after using this product

Cons :

- my hair become a little stiff because the powder absorb all the oil

- you have to buy it online, so i advice you to purchase it before ur product is empty

i rate this product : 10/10

overall it's a great product, absolutely gonna repurchase it..!! i am super satisfied and this powder shampoo will be added to my must have item list.. so happy that it works..~

Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion review

hello girls..!!! today i want to review about my all time favourite which is Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion..!! i bought this product last year in HongKong, this product is a HIT in there because i saw the advertisement everywhere, even on TV..!! oh and this product is starring Song Hye Kyo, probably most of u guys already know her from K-drama Full House, she's so pretty.. btw, i was interested and finally bought one, has been using it since then..!!

this product claim that it got 5 benefits which are whitening, sunscreen, sweat-proof, soothing, and makeup effects..

now u can buy it at laneige counter in Indonesia, i bet u could find it easily in Jakarta.. but for Surabaya, don't worry, they just opened their first counter on Sogo Tunjungan Plaza..!! yay..!! it's easier now..~

so that's the advertisement for laneige bb cushion, now let's start the review..!

first, of course we will start from the packaging..!! all is written in english, don't worry..!! i bought this one from Jakarta because my old case is broken, it accidentally fell from table and can't close properly now.. oh and this is the reason why i can make a full review on this product..!!

i love the color of this product, it's main color is silver and black, look elegant yet simple.. and if u guys look closely to the pattern, they look like snow flakes..!!

now, let's open the box and see what's inside..!!

inside the box u will get a case/compact with the bb cushion in it and also the puff, and they give 1 refill bb cushion too..!! and of course a brochure that explain this product, how to change the refill, etc..

and for the compact itself, here's the pictures..~

the main color for the compact is white with a little bit blue color.. it looks like a usual powder compact but it's a bb cream, it's more convenient to bring it everywhere..

and for the cushion itself, it looked like a big sponge with large pores on it.. so when u squeeze or press it the bb cream will come out, and there's a trick when u feel that the sponge is dry, try to flip it or take it out and switch the upside with the downside.. sometimes u have to do that because if u used 1 side all the time, of course it will dry out but on the outside only.. u still can use it..~

now i will write down the positive things about this product :

- great coverage, it even cover better than my cc cream
- reasonable price
- contains sunblock, SPF 50+, PA +++
- did give a soothing/cooling effect when apply it onto the skin, feel so fresh
- smells good

the negative things about this product :

- because i have oily skin, using only this product will make my skin looks so oily, so i have to set my face with powder after applying this product
- thicker than my face shop bb cream, so i only use it when i need it.. i don't like wearing heavy product on my face everyday
- i don't really like the white color on the compact, because the bb cream can spread around it and make it look dirty and messy

now, the question is did i want to buy this product again?? ABSOLUTELY YES..!!! i prefer using this product than using foundation.. i really do love the coverage and it was afterall did lighter than foundation..

-my once in a month skincare routine..-

hey guys.. sorry i haven't write anything this past few days.. i'm already in Lombok now, and the internet is kinda slow.. also i'm really busy in here..>.<

so when i'm in Surabaya i have a chance to take some photos for my monthly skincare routine but i don't have any chance to write and upload it here.. and now i will.. hehe..;)

my monthly skincare routine is very important for me, because all of the impurities does no good to our skin.. for example the dead skin cells will pilling up if u don't clean it, make ur face look dull, then all of the dirts that go inside the pores will clogged it and can cause many inflammation such as acne and comedones.. for those who doesn't know millia, it's a white comedones, it occurs because the sebum/oil can't get out or u can say that the sebum is trap inside.. i'm having lots of millia under my eyes and around the nose.. i asked a dermaticians about this and she said there's not much we can do about it.. millia is the hardest thing to get rid off.. guess i just have to live with it..=(

for this post, i didn't wear any make up or contact lens.. so forgive my ugly face..>o<

let's get started..!!!

- ok first what i like to do is cleansing my face with my favourite mild cleanser which is hadalabo perfect x simple ultimate moisturizing foaming face wash.. it's a drugstore product and u can find it everywhere.. it has a foamy texture and i like it..!! for me, everthing doesn't have to be expensive to be great.. i know some expensive stuffs don't guarantee that it will be suitable for any skin.. that's why even if it's cheap but if it suitable for ur skin, just use it and proud of it.. as long as it's not illegal or fake product, so becareful girls..;)

- after that i apply the toner.. usually i'm using Body shop seaweed clarifying toner, but since i ran out of it (no stock at store), i change to face shop E'thym balancing toner.. still like the body shop better though..!!

- after the toner, usually i will start to scrubbing.. the function of scrubbing is to cleanse the pores.. make up products and dirt will clogged it.. but because i'm having a big pimple at that time, i'm skipping this step.. but i will show u what product that i use, and it's texture.. scrubbing basically have something sandy or grainy in it, so it kinda harsh.. i won't recommend u guys to do scrubbing if u got acnes on ur face, because the scrubbing will cause inflammation to the acnes.. if u insist to do scrubbing and only have like 1 big acne like me in the pic, u could do it by avoiding the acne area, but for me, i won't risk it.. oh and when u do scrubbing always wet ur face a lil bit, because the sandy textures is so harsh and painful on dry face.. i'm using body shop seaweed pore cleansing facial exfoliator..

- after scrubbing, rinse ur face with water and dry towel it.. the next step is peeling.. the function is to remove the dead skin cells, it will brighten ur face.. i'm using peeling gel because it's more subtle and easy.. and the product that i use here is Islet power C white peeling gel.. i buy it in Hongkong and apparently it's a korean brand.. other brands that i know u can get in Indonesia is face shop or laneige.. i have seen they sell peeling gel.. i dunno about other brand, and if u guys know please leave a comment about it in this post.. thx..!!

- after that rinsing off ur face with water and put the toner again.. the next step is mask.. there's a lot of type for mask.. but u can use the paper mask, because it's easy and less messy, i like face shop for this one.. and then there's mask that looks like cream, i have seen this one on body shop.. i like this type because for me, it will be absorp well by the skin.. just my opinion tho.. and there's also mask that will dry and u just peel it off, i dunno where to buy this except in HongKong or other countries.. tell me if u guys know where to buy in Indonesia..;)
in this post i'm using the cream one.. usually i'm using swiss rituel moisturizing mask.. but since i ran out of it too, and i do buy new one but my sis take it to Lombok..=(
so now i'm using massage & mask sakura veil by POLA.. it's a japanese product and u can massage ur face while applying it.. oh and it smells great..!!! lovin it..~

- leave it for 2-3 mins.. always read the instruction..!! never leave the mask for too because it doesn't do any good for ur skin.. NEVER think that the longer u put the mask the better the results..!! just think about it, why did the manufacturer put on the instruction about how long u should leave the mask on?? be smart ladies..;)
rinse everything off with water and apply the toner again, put on some moisturizer and ur regular skin product..~
for the moisturizer, i'm using body shop vitamin E moisture cream..~

Queen Elsa from Frozen Disney Make Up Tutorial ~

i watch this movie 2 days ago and directly fall in love with it.. especially with queen elsa dress and make up.. this movie full with songs and my favourite is "Let it go" singing by queen elsa (idina menzel).. i listen to it all day yesterday.. and now i'm inspired to do queen elsa make up tutorial, surprisingly they use the mixture of warm color in here.. usually when the theme is winter or like this movie "frozen" people tend to choose blue, white, or that kind of icy colors.. so i'm quite surprised here, and loving it..!! they use purple and reddish brown for the eyes, then pink/orange i think it's apricot color for the blush, and pink for the lips.. probably because queen elsa's dress is already blue and white then she got white hair too!!! and even blue eyes..~

so here's some pictures of queen elsa and the movie it self..

so let's start to the tutorial shall we??

first of course the before picture..~

before

- after cleansing, as usual put on toner, face primer, sun cream, and a little bit of BB cream.. the BB cream used if only you have pimples and acne scars on the face.. BB cream can cover the redness a little bit.. (note : see the previous post for more info about the products i use)

- then i used my foundation, this time i only use lancome mat miracle 24H all over the face.. use concealer to cover dark circles, pimples, acne scars, or any dark area on the face.. i'm using  la touche magique perfect match by L'oreal in natural beige shade ..

- then setting my face with  loose powder, i'm using body shop loose powder number 2 and compact powder by body shop all in one face base number 3..

- and now for the eyes, i'm using my life palette night life by Em cosmetics, look number 3 "happy hour" for the purple and as the base color for this look, i'm using "c" and "d" by mixing them together.. and for the glittery eyeshadow under my eyes and on inner corner i'm using the color from look number 1 "city glitz", the "c" color.. for my lower lash i'm using the "d" color from look number 3 up till middle..

please note that "e" and "d" got switch

- then put on the reddish brown from outer corner going to the front, but make sure to put it as thin as possible first then gradually add more until u got ur desire intensity.. in here i'm using my Victoria Secret jet setter portable make up kit..

- then use the eyeliner, i'm using K pallete real lasting eyeliner 1 day tattoo in super black color.. (picture for the liquid eyeliner is in my previous post). and Kate gel eyeliner in black color on my waterline..

- curl my lashes with eyelash curler and put on some mascara, i'm using maybelline the magnum volume express. i also put a little mascara on my lower lashes.. then place the fake eyelashes, i'm using ginza decolog rich eyelashes.. buying it in HK and my most favourite fake eyelashes beside dolly wink.. it's thick but very comfy..!!

- next, draw the eyebrows or just simply fill in the gaps to define it.. never leave ur eyebrow untouch..!! i'm using Viva eyebrow pencil and layer it with dollywink eyebrow mascara..

- then, for the blusher, i'm using blush from life palette night life by Em cosmetics, look number 3 "happy hour", the "G" color.. 

- for lips, i mix also from life palette night life by Em cosmetics, look number 3 "happy hour" color "h" and look number 1 "city glitz" both color "h" and "i".. then finish it with lipgloss from candy doll..
