new products addition for my daily skincare routine..~

hey everyone...!!! so recently i just bought a new things for my daily skincare routine.. i already think about it for quite a long time, probably around 2 years or more.. if u wonder why did i think for that long, it was all because few years ago my skin condition wasn't as good as now.. i have a rough surface and acnes, also don't forget the scars..!! i got tons of blackheads too..!! oh the blackheads problem won't go away till now, but i'm happy with my skin condition nowadays..=)

then after i finished 3 courses at 3 different places (2 makeup courses and 1 hairstyling course) in Surabaya, i have a permission to stay in Hongkong for 3 months.. oh if u don't know, my mom is from Hongkong and my grandma, aunties, uncles, and quite a lot of relatives still in there, so that's why i go to Hongkong so many times, probably once in a year.. hehe..

well back to the topic, i join a course in there for beauty therapist at CMM.. then i know all about skincare, skin types, and so many things about my "canvas" which is our skin.. i learn and treat my skin more carefully, change products a few times until i got the right one and also do my skincare routine without skipping any of the steps.. diligent is needed if u want ur skin to change or to be good.. that's what happened to me, i used to be so lazy to do my skin chores but after i saw the result, i fight for it...!! so girls don't be lazy, and try ur product for more than 1 month to see the result or even after second bottle or product, then u can see it.. because i see many ppl just try their skincare product for few weeks and change to another (they think the product doesn't work), well give the product TIME..!! and if u already good with that one, just keep using it and u will got the best result..!!

ok, enough for the chit chat.. i added a "serum" for my daily routine, there's so many products out there with different purposes.. since i already used and match with body shop products, i buy the serum from there.. i got confused first, because i want the best match for my skin and what my skin need.. if i'm not mistaken, there's vitamin E serum (moisturize) this one is good for dry skin, Vitamin C serum (brightening) i think this one is good with any skin type, especially for those who wants a brighter skin, then there's moisture white shiso for whitening (this one also good for all skin type), and then there's nutriganics serum for anti-aging (i buy this one) i know i'm still young, but i already got fine lines around my mouth (too much laughing i guess) oh and i want to fight aging early and this one give a smooth feeling to the skin, it also non-sticky and absorbed quickly to the skin.. oh and it's organic too..!!

if u using serum before makeup, it will smoothen the skin surface.. so u know it will be easier to put on makeup, like foundation..

nutriganics smoothing serum

i already use this nutriganics line, the eyecream and it was good, so i choose this one.. oh i also buy the foaming facial wash because it's kinda hard to find the hadalabo facial foam.. i already search in many supermarkets, minimarkets, even guardians, all that kind of store.. so i recommend this one, an alternative if u can't find the hadalabo one.. body shop has 2 types of foaming facial wash, nutriganics and moisture white shiso, u can choose whatever the best for ur skin..

Chinese New year..!!~~

hey everyone..!! sorry for the super late post.. kinda busy since i wrote that CNY makeup tutorial.. i have an early CNY dinner with my family on 29 january because my sister already married and she has to spend her CNY eve on 30 january with her husband's family.. here's some photos from the early dinner.. we go to Crystal Jade at Lenmarc, the food is delicious..!!~

after that my fiance's birthday is on 30 january then 31 january is already Chinese new year and also our anniversary (we already engaged for a year on that day..!! time went so fast..!!). happy chinese new year..!! yay..!!

oh and on 1 February which is yesterday, we celebrate CNY and my fiance's birthday with his family.. i spend a night in there because we are going to go to Madura to try the famous food there, it was duck.. and it is GOOD...!! GOD i loved it.. LOL... the place called "nasi bebek Sinjay".. i've always wanted to go there but got no time.. so this is my first time trying it.. no wonder ppl willing to queue and wait to eat there..

well.. that's it.. that's what i do these past few days.. and now the celebration for CNY is over, and we end the january with a big festive..!! February has come, the month of love.. everything looks so romantic this month, especially when the valentine's day is coming.. wait for my next makeup tutorial to celebrate this month of love.. u will probably get a chance to have a boy/girl friend.. who knew?? let's enjoy this month.. thx for reading, love u all..!! ~Chinese New Year Makeup Tutorial...~

hello everyone..!!! so chinese new year is a few days away.. i'm so excited since i'm chinese and celebrate this once in a year event..!!! it's a time where the whole family come and also eat dinner together.. and i already done all the tradition that i have to do before chinese new year, which are to put as much money as u can in your wallet, buy new clothes, cut your hair (u can cut it a little by urself), stack the fridge with lots of food, etc.. well, i don't really believe these things but it's a tradition and if it's mean good, why not do it?? i don't lose anything too..=D

so in this post, i will write a tutorial about chinese new year makeup look..!! well, this was a softer version from my party makeup (which i promise will make a tutorial for it). but since it's almost look the same (only using different eyeshadow colors) so i'm gonna join the tutorial together with this one.. hope u guys enjoy it..!!!

- first step of course as u guys know, cleansing -> toner -> eye cream -> moisturizer -> sun cream -> face primer -> bb cream..
i always do this thing first.. (check the past post for which products did i use)

before

- since i was in a hurry, so i already fill in my eyebrows first, go out to do my stuffs then go back home to continue this tutorial, so u might find that the picture is different than the old post because i already fill in my eyebrows.. (so sorry..>.<)

- now i'm trying my other technique which is apply eyeshadow and eyeliner first then foundation.. because when doing smokey eyes, the dark color eyeshadow such as dark brown or black falling down to the face and create a mess.. so in here, we can clean that up first than apply foundation.. it's easier i guess.. well for the eyeshadow, i'm using gold and dark brown colors from my Em Cosmetics Life palette : Night Life..
the colors i use are from look number 2 "first date",

~for the base, i'm mixing "b" and "c" colors, and apply on my whole eyelid..

~ then "e" and "f" for the outer corner..

~ for the inner cormer as usual, i use silver color "c" from look number 1 and for lower lash line, i'm using "e" from look number 2.. i also put on gel eyeliner on my waterline..

~ applying the eyeliner, i'm using liquid eyeliner from K-palette..

- ok, next on is apply the foundation, i'm using Revlon Colorstay Whipped creme makeup.. applying it with stippled brush for natural looking face.. don't forget to use concealer for dark area..

- since my face is drying out after i go back from Jakarta, i skipped the loose powder stuff.. directly use the face powder, in here i'm using Pore Putty BB mineral powder.. it says that this powder can reduce or make the pore appreance look smaller (smoother look) and it does a little bit.. so i love this product..!! apply it with big powder brush..

- now, put on some fake eyelashes, i'm using ginza decolog rich..

- the i countour my nose, put highlight on the nose bridge and eyebrow bone, then put on some blusher.. for countouring i'm using candy doll shading powder, and for highlight i use the lightest color from face powder..

- now for the lips, i'm gonna use red lipstick.. so first, apply foundation on the lips.. then use lipliner to line or draw your desire form for ur lips and fill it in with lip liner.. in here, i forgot to buy the red lip liner so i use what i have which is lip liner from MAC and the color is pink.. next, apply the red lipstick, i suggest to use a matte color because it's easier to use.. then top it off with lipgloss if u want to.. the products i use here are all from revlon, for lipstick is revlon colorstay ultimate suede #095 finale and for lipgloss revlon colorburst #018 fire feu.. use sponge or brush to clean the line around ur lips and u are done..!!

and the complete look is.............................

heyy guys.. i'm so sorry for not posting since christmas.. i'm still in lombok and the internet connection is SUPER slow..!!! i already complaint but this is Indonesia, especially when u r live in small island, they don't really care about u.. urgghh...

so i'm gonna be back to Surabaya next week on 16 jan, BUT have to go to Jakarta the next day.. my fiance's cousin is getting married and i have to accompany him there.. i will try to take photos for my party make up, especially when i have to wear it since morning and i will change my eye make up for the night.. it's gonna be an exciting post..!! or if i don't have the time, i will re-create the look and post it here..~~

oh btw my sister make the party dresses for me..!! gonna upload it as soon as possible, i help hand stitched my dresses too..!! so i'm proud of it.. hehe..
